I came across an old photography book by Saul Leiter in a book shop in East London back in 2023. I was drawn to the photography style, depth and colour of the imagery, so I decided to buy an old film camera, a couple of prime lens and began to experiment and train my eye to spot things that could be interesting.
My photography style is shaped by a focus on composition, colour, and light, using these elements to transform ordinary streets and scenes into visual stories. I’m drawn to subtle gestures, and moments of humour that might usually pass unnoticed. Through film, I try to capture not just what I see, but the atmosphere and character of everyday life
nothingisordinary has been created as a project to showcase my imagery and provide some insights on film photography.
